Itinerary

 

Day 1: HANOI ARRIVAL (NO MEAL)

Welcome to Hanoi – Vietnam! The tour guide & driver will be welcoming you at Noi Bai airport; it takes us 35 minutes driving to the centre of Hanoi then check-in at hotel.  Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: HANOI CITY TOUR (B/L/D)

Breakfast at your hotel then free time until depart to have lunch at an Indian restaurant. Let’s start our city tour from Temple of Literature, the 1st university in Vietnam then continue to Ba Dinh Square - the biggest square in Hanoi where all biggest cultural, political events of the cities for taking photos of Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (outside). Later have an overall view of the capital by a “cyclo” visit, which will go around the Old Quarter of Hanoi and Hoan Kiem Lake (the “Sword” Lake). Enjoy Water Puppet Show. Dinner at an Indian restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 3:  HANOI – TRANG AN – HOA LU – HANOI (B/L/D)

Breakfast at your hotel then proceed for Hoa Lu - Tam Coc, enjoying the beautiful sceneries of the rural areas on the way. After arriving in Ninh Binh province, the guide takes you to visit Hoa Lu - the Ancient Royal capital of Viet Nam. We will visit Dinh king temple and Le king temple in the 10th century, finding out the heroic histories of this two Kings in Chinese Wars. After that, we go to Tam Coc (10 km far from Hoa Lu). Have lunch at an Indian restaurant. After lunch you will get on bamboo boat - rowed by the local people - in Hoang Long river to visit Tam Coc (three caves) on the way. You pass through three enormous caves that provide a brief respite from the intense summer sun. It takes approximately two hours to go up and down the river and along the way, you witness local fisherfolk, village life along the river and, of course, the striking limestone karst formations that Tam Coc is famous for.

Later, transfer back to Hanoi. Dinner at an Indian restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 4:  HANOI – HALONG OVERNIGHT ON BOARD (B/L/D)

Breakfast at the hotel & check out hotel.
08:00, we depart for Halong Bay. The 3.5 hours journey takes us through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta. Upon arrival at Tuan Chau Wharf, transfer by tender to our overnight cruise.
12:00 – 12:15: Embark at Hon Gai International harbor.
12:30 – 13:00: Embark on the boat. Enjoy welcome drink as Cruise Manager gives you a brief overview of the itinerary and important safety guideline. Check in your cabin.
13:30 – 14:30: Have lunch while cruising to magnificent Bai Tu Long Bay; Start sailing among famous Islets of Bai Tu Long Bay, the wildest beauty with the panoramic natural views.
15:00 – 16:30: Visit and explore the well-hidden Co Cave (known as Thien Canh Son Cave) where you can go hiking to the middle of the mountain to see the wild and mysterious beautiful cave, contemplate numerous sparkling stalactites appear like 'hanging lamps’ inside the Cave.  (No swimming).
Return to the boat for relaxing.
17:45 – 19:00: Attend our chef’s cooking demonstration and try your skills in the art of traditional Vietnamese cooking (spring roll).
19:00 – 21:00: Dinner is served in the restaurant. You can enjoy the charm of Bai Tu Long Bay at night.
21:00 – 22:00: Enjoy evening activities (Squid Fishing, Movie Night, Board Games, Massage & Spa services) or relax at the leisure. Overnight on board.

Please note the program may be little varied upon the cruise you choose. Only Vietnamese & International food available on the boat. Depending on the cruise, kayak will be included or not.

Day 5: HALONG – HANOI DEPARTURE (B/L/D)

06:30 – 07:00: Welcome a new day with an amazing dawn on Bai Tu Long Bay. Refresh your body and soul with a Tai-chi session on the sundeck.
07:00 – 07:30: Catch the morning view of seascape while enjoying the breakfast with cookies and tea in the restaurant.
07:30 – 08:30: Visit Vung Vieng fishing village - the famous fishing farm by bamboo boat and discover life of local people living on the surface of Halong Bay. (No swimming).
08:30 – 9:30: Pack the luggage and check out of the cabin.
09:30 – 10:40: Enjoy the brunch in the restaurant while cruising back to harbor.
11:00: Disembark from the cruise, transfer to Hanoi.

Laters, we transfer back to Hanoi. Freetime for shopping in Aeon Mall. Dinner at an Indian restaurant.
Then we depart to the airport for departure flight. End of services.
