What is included in the tour

  • Flight Tickets.
  • The mentioned rates per person rates are valid for Indian National / Passport Holder only.
  • Meet & Greet upon arrival.
  • Accommodation as per the itinerary, on specified plan on Twin Sharing Basis.
  • Extra Person / Child with Bed (CWB) sharing the room on Cot/ Roll over mattress/ fixed day-bed / Divan as provided by the hotel.
  • Services of 01 Trip Leader (Guide) will be as per the itinerary for Bhutan Portion only.
  • Monuments entrance fees as per the itinerary.
  • 06 Breakfast, 07 Lunches & 06 Dinner.
  • 01 Bottle Packaged drinking per pax per day.
  • E-Permit & SDF (Sustainable Development Fee) charged by the government.
  • Transfer from IXB Airport/NJP Station to Phuentsholing (vice-versa) by 05 Xylo/Similar (06 Heads per vehicle).
  • All applicable Transfer & Sightseeing by specified vehicles (on point to point basis, not on disposal) and will be exclusively used for the guest as per the itinerary only, by:

Itinerary


Day 01: Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / NJP Railway Station (NJP) – Phuentsholing Bagdogra Airport (126 Mts / 412 Fts, // New Jalpaiguri (140 Mts / 460 Ft) Phuentsholing (293 Mts / 961 Fts, 165 Kms, 04 to 05 Hrs drive approx)
Pick up from Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / NJP Railway Station (NJP) and transfer to Phuentsholing. Meet & Greet upon arrival at Phuentsholing (298 Mts / 977 Fts), go to Phuentsholing Immigration office for Bhutan entry formalities assisted by our Bhutan representative. Later check in at hotel. Overnight at Hotel. (Lunch at local restaurant & dinner at Phuentsholing hotel)
 

Day 02: Phuentsholing – Thimphu (2320 Mts / 7656 Ft, 158 Kms / 05 to 06Hrs drive approx)
After breakfast, checkout and then after completing your Visa / Permit formalities, in case if your permit are not done on day of arrival, assisted by our Bhutan representative who will then assist you in boarding your vehicle for transfer from Phuentsholing to Thimphu. On arrival in Thimphu, check in to the hotel. Overnight at Hotel. (Breakfast at Phuentsholing hotel, Lunch at local restaurant and Dinner at Thimphu hotel)

 

Day 03: Thimphu - Excursion To Punakha – Thimphu Punakha (1273 Mts / 4177 Fts, 70 Kms / 03 to 3½ Hrsone way drive approx

After breakfast drive to Punakha, which is the last town on the highway before entering Central Bhutan. The drive is over Dochu La pass (3080Mts / 10102Fts) which is very scenic with fascinating view of mountains of Bhutan. Visit PunakhaDzong, If time permit visit the Suspension Bridge and then take a walk for 30 minutes (one way) to ChimiLhakhang (Monastery). Evening you drive back to Thimphu. Overnight at Hotel. (Breakfast at Thimphu hotel, Lunch at local restaurant and Dinner at Thimphu hotel)

 

Day 04: Ba Na Hill Full Day Tour [Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner] Thimphu local sightseeing - Paro (2200 Mts / 7217 Fts, 52 Kms / 01½ to 02 Hrs drive approx)
After breakfasts, check out and then go for Thimphu sightseeing covering Sangaygang View Point (BBS Tower) which is located at an elevation of (2865 Mts / 9397Fts), which offers an exquisite view of the whole town of Thimphu. Then after visit Buddha Point (KuenselPhodong), Institute for ZorigChusum (Traditional Art & Craft School) (Closed on Saturday , Sunday, National Holiday & During Summer & Winter Vacations), Textiles Museum,  Handicrafts Shops, Simply Bhutan (Closed on National Holiday), MotithangTakin Preservation Centre. Later return back to the hotel.  Overnight at Hotel. (Breakfast at Thimphu hotel, Lunch at local restaurant and Dinner at Paro hotel)
 

Day 05: Paro - Full day Local Sightseeing – Paro(2200 Mts / 7216 Fts)              
After breakfast go for Full day Paro sightseeing covering DungtseLhakhang, then stop at Bird eye view point from this point picturesque Paro Valley can be seen from this point and the small Paro International airport in the middle of all that looks stunning. Ideal time to go here would be between 10-11 AM. Then visit Ta Dzong (National Museum-Closed on National Holiday), RinpungDzong, KichuLhakhang. Back to the hotel.Overnight at Hotel. (Breakfast at Paro hotel, Lunch at local restaurant and Dinner at Paro hotel)

Paro - Hike ToTaktsangLhakhang (Tiger’S Nest) – Paro(2200 Mts / 7216 Fts)
Start the day early for a day hike to TaktsangLhakhang (Tiger's Nest Monastery). The hike which is a uphill climb for about 2 ½ to 3 Hrs (Depending on Guest Fitness label) one way through pine forests. Many guest who are unable to make it to the top can hike upto the cafeteria points which is again about 1 to 1 ½ Hrs uphill climb. Later return back to the base where the vehicle will be waiting to take you back to the hotel.


Day 06: Phuentsholing (Bhutan) / Jaigoan (India) (298 Mts /977 Fts, 176 Kms / 04 to 05 Hrs drive approx) Siliguri (140 Mts / 460 Ft, 165 Kms, 04 to 05 Hrs drive approx from phuentsholing)
Paro - Phuentsholing (Bhutan) – Siliguri (India) After breakfast, checkout and then transfer from Paro to Phuentsholing (Bhutan) / Jaigoan (India), enroute stop at Karbandi for Bhutan exit stamps & at Indian Immigration office at Jaigaon for India entry stamp. Later drive to Siliguri. On reaching check into the hotel Overnight at Hotel. (Breakfast at Phuentsholing, Lunch at local restaurant and Dinner at Siliguri hotel)

 

Day 07: Phuentsholing (Bhutan) / Jaigoan (India) (298 Mts /977 Fts, 176 Kms / 04 to 05 Hrs drive approx) Siliguri (140 Mts / 460 Ft, 165 Kms, 04 to 05 Hrs drive approx from phuentsholing) Siliguri - Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / NJP Railway Station (NJP) Bagdogra Airport (IXB) (126 Mts / 412 Fts) / New Jalpaiguri (140 Mts / 460 Ft,15Kms, 40 to 45Minutes drive approx.)
After breakfast transfer to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB), for onwards connection. (Breakfast at Siliguri hotel & Lunch at Local restaurant)
